Does fit2work offer Biometrics or Optical Character Recognition (OCR)?

Yes - fit2work offers this solution for the Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check known as the fit2work Fast Track Identity Verification Method. Applicants will have the option to select this option if they have the following documents:

  • Australian or International Passport
  • Australian Driver Licence 
  • Medicare Card

Applicants will need to have the physical copy of their documents to use this method. Applicants with a single name (e.g. first name or family name only), will need to use the fit2work Standard Method to complete their application.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the applicant uploads an international passport, once they have completed the mobile steps, they will be prompted to provide a copy of their Australian Visa (which can be obtained from Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)).

If they don't have the documents needed for our fit2work Fast Track option, the fit2work Standard Method is a great alternative. 

Here’s what they'll need:

  • One Commencement of identity document
  • One Primary use in the community document
  • One Secondary use in the community document
  • A "selfie" photo of you holding one of their photo ID documents 

All three documents must be valid and show their current legal name.
