Our Security

Following the 2017 US cyber attack on our company, Equifax has transformed its security program.

We invested $1.5 billion USD to build top-tier security and technology capabilities, hired more than 600 highly-skilled cybersecurity professionals to protect consumer data, and introduced next generation detection and response technology across our enterprise.

Because of these efforts – and many others listed in our Security Annual Report – we’ve built one of the most advanced, effective, and transparent cybersecurity programs in business today.

Equifax Australia and New Zealand systems were not compromised by the 2017 cyber security incident.
